All about Repairing the Tyre!

There is no doubt that tyres have a crucial role to play when it comes to driving. It keeps the grip from braking and supports the vehicle’s weight for a smooth drive. No matter if it is an uneven road or bad weather, tyres have to withstand a lot. They are in direct contact with the road, that is why they are subjected to a lot of stress. It is therefore important to make sure that the tyres are replaced or repaired from time to time so that they can function properly for a long period. The common question among people is when should one repair a punctured tyre? If there is a simple wound in a tread, and the tyre is not used while flat, then repairing won’t be a problem. It is to be noted that a tyre repair is possible if— The tread depth is over 1.6mm.  There was no puncture before. The puncture is in the middle three-quarters of the tyre. The repairing of a tyre is not possible when— The sidewall or outer part is damaged. The tyre is damaged completely.
